Aah.
What a nice little short from Skitch here. This is the ultimate
feel good film. And quite inspiring too. Bruised consistently
proves that you need nothing more than a good idea to get a film
off the ground, and even the notoriously bad direction and
scenery of the past (and present) can prove this. If Bruised had
been a full-length, I'd bet money on me crying like a sissy girl
by the end of it. Bruised also proves there is no excuse for the
laziest directors out there to not make anything. Bruised is
short, snappy and sweet. When the newbies come in, just
introduce them to Skitch.
Interesting and lovely but nonetheless, a shame that Bruised
could not have been explored further. If however, this was the
point of the short, then I missed it.
