Angelic Ambience

Reviewed by Jason Meckes

He-hey, that was pretty cool!

I really liked the Aquatic Ambience song (DKC 1, guys), I think I put it in my NG preview, but I'd have to check. Either way, great choice in music there

I have two complaints though.... If you're going to have so many tears, you really should've found a way to make them look less like blue basketballs, methinks. The dramatic overkill would've been a little more effective if the tears were.

And secondly, what was the point of this movie? At the end, I was expecting some sort of epiphany or twist, but there really wasn't one... was there? I dunno, it just seemed like this movie should've had some sort of moral standpoint, or at least offer a hypothesis as to why one would turn into an angel after death.

The angel you made, while mildly crude, worked rather well, and I have no complaints with your animation or scenery. Heh, come to think of it, I think my favorite part was the beginning logo with the halo falling. That was pretty cool for some reason, heh heh.

I also didn't see where, his daughter was it?, yeah... where she came in. Earlier I thought I saw his son by his corpse, and there was no mention of a daughter. Her husband also looked like he was going to kill everybody, but if memory serves me correctly, he didn't. Oh well.

Heh heh, whatever. I liked the fact that there were no voices or sounds. That worked really well, and that's how I'd prefer to make all of my movies (But sadly, most people here would frown upon such). It works wonderfully, and is probably the best way to handle this movie, as it leaves things open for audience interpretation. Good job!

But still, many areas needed some help regardless.
