Destined to Fall

Reviewed by Jason Meckes

Yeah dude, a great movie through and through! I'm honored to finally have one of my characters in a movie, that's like... heh, the pinnacle of my career. LOL, if it makes you feel any better, I didn't see the 'boobs' till just now (Aaron's note: Check the Destined to Fall thread, but Goro is talking about Ryu's torso design).

While I did not like the whole negative future of the community aspect, I do realize that it's nothing more than a 'Terminatorish future' than your true thoughts on the community's future. That said, the storyline was rather fulfilling, and the mood was very well set!

Adrian's characters moved like magic, especially the MythSquirrel. Very nice stuff there. It was great to see all of the cameos here and there, like Snoopy and Aqua. While I would've liked a giant Godzilla foot to crush the statue, and then lead to a gigantic monster battle with the 'Bored with 3dmm demon'..... I knew that that wasn't going to happen, so I won't hold it against ya,’ heh heh

The scenery was well-thought through, and detail was superb. My favorite part (Well, minus a ninja or so...) was definitely the statue, it looked awesome. I recommend using the spoiler tag on your comment about it earlier in here, since it's kind of a 'twist,' if you will. I liked it very much, yupsiree

One thing that I think you will need to work on, though, is lining up the different objects so that when you move them, they all move in nearly exactly equal amounts. This is tough with the 3d words, 'cause they are just, well... funkay. It takes a while to learn how to do this correctly, but once you do... DANG! I figure you'll have scenery right on par with JP, dude

Keep up the good work, best movie/short of the year so far

8/10
Heh, it's just an awesome movie. I'd of liked it even better if it were another 'rebirth' kinda' thing, with a more cheerful ending. Let's see some destruction sequences next time, LOL!
