Videogame Nightmare 2

Hahaha, that has to be one of the best movies I've seen in a looooong, long time. Yeah there'll be spoilers in here, too.

My computer is a Win98 geezer, so it really struggled in a lot of parts. This is indeed the first 3dmm that has ever made me truly GIGGLE. I don't mean laugh, I mean seriously GIGGLE. And I'll tell you what, it was most DEFINITELY the Pokemon thing that did it for me. HAHAHA, best movie parody EVER. EVER. EVAR.

I made my little bro watch it with me as he's a big VG fan, too. He saw the original back in the day, also. Yup yup. He wouldn't stop laughing, that little dork just... man.. he loved that Cube.

After the Pikachu thing, my next favorite part would definitely be the Mentos bit. ha ha, that was classic.

But yeah, since my computer sucks it was really lagging in a lot of parts, so things like the Mario Party bit took FOREVER to get through, and really hurt the pacing of the movie. Same with a bunch of other scenes, too

The random voice clips and Simpsons-type wavs really brought back the feeling that this movie was a blast from the past. It really did. I remember watching that old Homer Mortal Kombat thing a long time ago, with random wavs and things like that in it, and it's really, really nostalgic. The bomberman scene had a little much of it in it, I think, but it all came out okay.

Ha ha, I love all of the sound effects and scenes from my old flicks are in there. Even excluding the Ninja Gaiden clip (Which was dern funny), the Vegeta wav, 'Take that Gorosaurus' text, and the use of the Midi from the final fight in G98 twice was just... HEART WARMING. Awww, I wuv you guys.

The ending was a little uneventful as they were joking about, but I guess not too bad at all. The whole Bowser/Goomba dialogue was great, I loved it.

But yeah, one thing that got me was the lack of an A in the middle of Galaga... EEE! And Ash's voice in the beginning got me scared that a lot of voices would be like that, but luckily that wasn't the case.

All in all, a very, very refreshing movie! Very simple in it's own way, while at times the animation/effects can be astounding! It's like your trademark directing, and your styles still mix very well together. Heh, it was pretty long, too! Oh yeah, and awesome job with the Beat It part, good stuff. Bravo!

9/10
Like a blast from the past, mixed with a few new techniques and never-ending humor. One of the best comedies 3dmm has ever had
