Zombie 4: Tactical Mission

Reviewed by Jason Meckes

Alrighty, great movie James! Here's the official Gorosaur review:

Story: Very detailed story, that much is certain. That's why there's 3 movies ahead of it! I'll let it be known that I haven't seen any of the others yet, so bear with me. 8.5/10

Animation: Definitely a plus! I've seen some screenshots of the previous movies, and I can definitely tell that James has improved tremendously (Not to knock his older stuff, mind you)! 8.5/10

Scenery: One of the few low points here was, while the scenery was anything but bad, there was a bit left to be expected. Given that much of the movie was based in areas of simply metal, it would be unfair to dock him much for such. Beautiful steel, beautiful =). 6.5/10

Music: This is one of the best aspects of this movie, but probably only for Godzilla fans! Very dramatic/well picked music. Would've been nice to hear a little Ifukube just for nostalgia, but I guess that's what G98PE was for, heh heh. Okay, enough of my shameless promotion. Great musical score, well credited and used. 9/10

Cinematics (Directing): While I was certainly impressed with the amount of moving cameras and whatnot, sometime the camera seemed to move erratically, as if being shot by an amateur on the spot (Blair Witch-esque). That would be GREAT if the camera was what someone there was seeing, but it was simply a camera (If you get what I'm saying). But that's only a scene or two, most of the time the direction of superb, and one or two shots did have me in awe! 8/10

Sound: Great voice acting. While I do recall hearing a lot of 3DMM sound effects being used, I will certainly not dock, as they are, in reality, a good thing! Very clear voices, and rather professional as well. Only a few voices were out of place (The computer-generated ones). 8.5/10

Enjoyment: I had a good time while watching this movie, there wasn't really a boring spot. I'll probably end up showing it to a few of my siblings (Which I can rarely do due to content in most movies). It must be one of my top 3-5 downloads this year, well done! 8.5/10

Replay Value: Oh yeah, this one's got some definite replay value. Check it out if you haven't yet, you're bound to find some new things out each time. Lots of extra goodies thrown with the package as well (I have yet to check out all of them). Replay value: B

Overall (No, not them farmer pants):

As I've said many time so far, great movie, James. You're a definite asset to this community. I am now very eagerly anticipating Zombie 5, and especially the full movie! This is a well-rounded movie that is worthy of any Hollywood director. I'll be sure to vote for it in the box office (Which I have yet to do for any movie!), so that tells you something. Maybe the Godzilla bits made this movie a whole lot more enjoyable to me than it would others, but I doubt it. Download NOW!

8.5/10
