This is something quite new, for me anyway. Ice Cream Man is effectively a music video with almost every scene going in time with the song, "Ice Cream Man". And no, I am not kidding, the song really is called "Ice Cream Man". I haven't heard much of this 3DMM director before, so I didn't have a clue what to expect, but at the end of the three minute movie, I wanted more.

I just don't know why. All I was watching was some random boy trying to get an ice-cream because some annoying ice-cream man thought it would be fun to ignore him. And yet I was staring at my screen with plenty of eagerness. OK, maybe the graphics aren't that great with a couple of rather untidy backgrounds, but I still enjoyed watching the movie. Of course, Ice Cream Man wouldn't be nowhere as fun to watch if the backing song was completely crap. And fortunately, the rather unknown tune was catchy, and it was something which you could nod to.

If you have a spare five minutes, use the time to download Ice Cream Man, load it up on 3DMM and watch it. And if you want, you can spend another seven or eight minutes enjoying this short music video another couple of times. It's a bit on the short side, and the technical stuff may not look half as good as some of the better movies this year, but I am still happily smiling away, enjoying Ice Cream Man.
